First contest and that was so much Successful that it got many entries , Currently the comments is reading 28 and so many people commenting this contest have made it successful. I can now see that my blog Johnycow.com would be a hit . As a result of this good achievement I have decided to add one more thing into my contest prize which will not be given away this week but will be given away from next week onwards.

And this Prize is a 300X250 Advertising Space to the person who will win the contest next week. So be prepared with your animated Banners / Simple Jpeg files whatsoever in case you win the advertising space.If you do not have any Banners , and you would like me to promote any thing on this blog is also welcome.

Ok ! The contest would end in 22 Hours to be precise and I would like more and more entries to the contest. So if you blog about it or drop the card please do mention in the comment section so that It would help me a lot in giving you proper credits.

Now a days , it is most common to hold competitions so that you might get some sort of traffic , indirectly or directly which ever the way is. Most bloggers do often criticize other’s as well to make some sort of traffic as well.  There are some ways in which you can achieve traffic.

• Ordering a Review Me Review from John Chow(Single Name Only , as there are many Big One’s)
• Stumbling your own post and asking friends to stumble it.
• Through Entrecard credits.(Even I am having competition for Entrecard Credits )
• Through Advertisement Promotions

You may also notice that many Big One’s like Winning the Web spent more than $1500 in his promotions as well. He Ordered a John Chow review first and then as soon as his traffic graph went high up in the air, he then ordered John Cow Review. Mr,. Park started his blog out in October and since then the Alexa graph was going like the one below. Actually the stats are his own

Now think about the graphic Increase in the rankings of the Blog of Mr Park. This is the only fact that I decided to vote for him.( :evil:  Actually I am in for the T-Shirt  not that freaking $100 as I know when so many entries are there chances fade out.)  Now he is having a contest with Tyler Cruz one of the blogs which Inspired me to go ahead with blogging. Now Tyler I am sorry this time but if you decide to get with any other contest then I will surely vote for you.

Now for the best part , As I have said in this post , many have decided to take part in this particular contest , I am also in and I have voted for Mr Park by seeing his attitude towards marketing on the Internet. I hope that he succeeds and as his $1500 yeilded a very Good ROI this link baiting and link building technique also succeeds in both the blogs. Well , today as I was looking into the Alexa ranking of JohnyCow.com I found out that the site is getting some attention , though it is new but still people are loving it or whatever. Now this website is only 11 days old and the statistics for the website are as follows

December 2007 : Website Started on 25th December 2007

• No of Unique Visitors : 105
• Total Page Views : 638

Now it is only 4 Days in January and the Statistics are like this

• No of Unique visitors : 187
• Total Page Views : 969

The main credit for this goes to the Entrecard thing which I have started using, may be because of this and the Contest I am currently having has attracted this much number of Visitors and page views. This contest will be run each week where I will give away 750 Entrecard Credits enough for you to advertise your website on JohnChow.com for 3 days provided you have at least 150 Entrecard Credits with you ( ) or any one website using Entrecard for at least 3-10 or more days.
